On Sunday October 11, 1936, Mrs Alberta Ruth Edwards Frye and Mr James Edward Frye Jr. welcomed their first son, Robert Edward Frye. On Thursday February 13, 2025, he entered eternal life. Known as Bob to friends and coworkers and “Granpa Bob” to his family, he lived a full and accomplished life. A graduate of Howard University (BS, 1958), Bob Frye was commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US army after graduation. Mary Evelyn Kelleher, 77, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7th, 2025, at her home surrounded by loved ones. She loved her family, friends and lived for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She loved to cook and loved teaching others how to cook even more. She enjoyed gardening, outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends. Evelyn loved like no other and this was her legacy. JAMES EDWARD KALE (Age 84) November 22, 1940 - December 12, 2024 Jim Kale, a resident of Goodwin House, Alexandria, was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on November 22, 1940. He is survived by his wife Alice, children Dora Kale, Allison Kale, Colin Kale, a step-daughter Anne Price, and three grandchildren Maxwell Kale, Isabella Kale, and Marston Price. He attended McDonough School in Baltimore, then enlisted in the Navy at age 17, retiring after 25 years.
